HISTORY

Castrette

The true heart of Benetton is the logistic hub in Castrette di Villorba (TV).
From here, shipments depart by land, sea and air to more than 5,000 outlets around the world. Designed by the architects Tobia and Afra Scarpa and officially inaugurated in 1984, a year later it was integrated by a knitwear factory, and between 2007 and 2009 expanded even further. Today it measures over 20 meters in height (5 of which are underground) and occupies an area of about 30,000 square meters. The hub handles more than 120,000 packages each day (60,000 incoming and 60,000 outgoing). The Castrette area also houses office spaces, a canteen and Benetton Studios, a multifunctional area that also includes the Benetton Archive.
