500,000 fans on Facebook, 50% growth since the beginning of the year and a whole dedicated team: Benetton is using social networking more and more through targeted initiatives based on a precise communications strategy.
Tens of thousands of contacts on Facebook – with over 55 million post views since January 2011 – thanks to numerous offers: from pages dedicated to products, like Blue Denim, Valentine’s day and Personal styles, which allowed fans to post their favourite articles of clothing on their wall, to applications and games like Colours of you, and initiatives such as the I’m Unique child casting call or the launch of United Songs of Benetton, which let’s users listen to, download and share the tracks of the new CD Benetton Spring Summer 2011.
Benetton is becoming increasingly more social, exploiting all the Web’s tools and platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, You Tube and now, there’s United Blogs of Benetton.
The future is on the Web and so is Benetton
